Marlins-Mets lineups

The Marlins and Mets are squaring off in Port St. Lucie on Wednesday.

Josh Johnson, Florida’s Opening Day starter, will be making his final Grapefruit League appearance. Johnson will be on about an 80-pitch limit. The right-hander was scratched from his last start with a stomach virus, and he is still in the process of regaining all his strength.

Johnson will face New York on Monday at Citi Field.

Lineup vs. Mets in Jupiter

Initially, Cody Ross was in the lineup for the Marlins against the Mets at Roger Dean Stadium on Monday. But after feeling some discomfort during batting practice, Ross was scratched from the starting lineup. Scott Cousins is filling in at right field.

Ross has been nursing a sore right thumb. But the discomfort he felt on Monday was the result of a groin strain.

The Marlins and Mets will be playing at 1:05 p.m. ET at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.
