Solano gets start in series finale
ST. PETERSBURG — After prevailing 4-3 in a grueling 15-inning game on Saturday night, Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen decided to give second baseman Omar Infante a breather on Sunday.
Infante went 0-for-7 with four strikeouts.
Donovan Solano, who didn’t play on Saturday, was given the start at second base in the series finale at Tropicana Field.
The Marlins are going with Hanley Ramirez hitting second and Giancarlo Stanton batting third. Josh Johnson will start against Tampa Bay’s Alex Cobb.
