Cody! Cody! Cody! is back in Miami

MIAMI — Cody Ross, one of the most popular former Marlins, was back in Miami on Monday night as a member of the Red Sox.

Ross is on the DL with a broken bone in his left foot. Soon, he will be playing rehab games and he could be reinstated when the Marlins are at Fenway Park on June 19.

Ross took batting practice on Monday at Marlins Park, and he crushed some balls onto the concourse.

There are a couple of Cody Ross bobbleheads on display at the Bobblehead Museum at Marlins Park. One of them is of him during his days with the Marlins (2006-10). Before Monday’s game, Ross signed the bobblehead of him doing his trademark home run hop. The bobblehead was when the veteran outfielder was playing in San Francisco.

Before Monday’s game, Cody Ross signed the hat of his HR hop bobblehead.
