JJ looks to get back in win column

MIAMI — In his last start, Josh Johnson was one pitch away from collecting his first victory. Instead, he ended up with a no-decision at Houston in a game the Marlins eventually won in extra innings.

Johnson gave up two runs in seven innings.

On Tuesday night, the right-hander seeks his first win since April 19, 2011. That win was against the Pirates, the same team he beat last April.

The Marlins on Tuesday seek to gain a two-game split with Pittsburgh at Marlins Park. It’s the finale of a five-game homestand.

Kevin Correia gets the start for the Pirates.

Due to a conflict with the NBA playoffs, the Marlins game tonight will air on Majic 102.7 FM, and not 790 The Ticket.
