AT&T Park boosts its own bobblehead collection

SAN FRANCISCO — One of the biggest attractions at Marlins Park is the Bobblehead Museum located on the Promenade Level.

In all, 604 bobbleheads are on display, and they’ve already drawn plenty of attention from fans milling about the new building.

In San Francisco, there is a bobblehead collection that stands up to pretty much any place. In fact, it’s located in a 12-by-12 foot room that is the office of Harvey Hodgerney, the visiting clubhouse manager at AT&T Park.

Hodgerney has a collection of roughly 700 bobbleheads, featuring, of course, pretty much every one of the San Francisco Giants. Even Hodgerney has his own bobblehead.

Bobbleheads are packed on shelves lining the office. They’re also all over his desk.

The collection includes a Josh Beckett holding the 2003 World Series MVP trophy. And there are even bobbleheads of the sausages that race at Milwaukee’s Miller Park. There is a bobblehead from 1960 of a boy in a Giants uniform.
