Reyes presented with Silver Bat award
MIAMI — Marlins shortstop Jose Reyes collected some hardware on Wednesday night for what he did last season while with the Mets.
The four-time All-Star received the Silver Bat, awarded to the batting champion of each league. While with New York in 2011, Reyes paced the National League with a .337 average.
The Silver Bat is presented by Louisville Slugger, which also hands out Silver Slugger Awards.
