Anibal set for first spring start
Keep a close eye on Anibal Sanchez today.
The Marlins right-hander will make his first Grapefruit League start on Wednesday against the Rays in Port Charlotte.
It’s a big outing because Sanchez has been nursing a sore right shoulder since the first few days of Spring Training. If all goes well, he is lined up to make four Grapefruit League starts before Opening Day. Most likely, he also will pitch in a Minor League game at the end of camp, which would keep him in line to be either the fourth or fifth starter.
