Marlin seeking 2015 All-Star Game
Marlins president David Samson remains hopeful that Major League Baseball will grant Marlins Park the 2015 All-Star Game.
The Marlins plan to apply for the Midsummer Classic , and they like their chances.
When the Marlins were negotiating for their new ballpark a few years ago, MLB stated they would give strong consideration to granting Miami an All-Star Game.
The Marlins also are pushing to host either the semifinals or finals of 2013 World Baseball Classic.
