Bonifacio hitting second

ST. LOUIS — Riding a six-game hitting streak, Emilio Bonifacio has moved up into the second spot for the Marlins on Wednesday night against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

For the first time this season, Omar Infante has slid down in the order. The second baseman is in a 1-for-14 rut, while Bonifacio is 9-for-23 in his six-game streak.

The Marlins are 3-2 on their road trip, and they are 1-1 in their four-game set at St. Louis.

Javier Vazquez gets the start, while the Cardinals are going with Chris Carpenter.
