Uggla out of lineup again

Dan Uggla, nursing a right groin strain, was out of the starting lineup for the second straight day on Tuesday.

The Marlins slugger had played in all of the team’s first 129 games before he was scratched on Monday in a game the Marlins lost 9-3 to the Nationals.

Emilio Bonifacio is filling in for Uggla at second base, while Gaby Sanchez is hitting in the cleanup spot.

Uggla is sitting on 29 homers and he is one shy of becoming the first second baseman in MLB history to post four 30 home run seasons.
