Marlins-Orioles rained out
Steady rain washed out the Marlins-Orioles game in Sarasota on Friday.
While there will not be a scheduled makeup for this Grapefruit League contest, the two teams will play a seven-inning B Game on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Sarasota.
Also on Saturday, the Marlins have a scheduled 1:05 p.m. ET game against the Rays in Port Charlotte.
Due to the rainout, the Marlins have shuffled their pitching somewhat. Ricky Nolasco will make his scheduled start against the Rays. But in the B Game in Sarasota, Sean West will start. Andrew Miller was slated to start on Friday.
Miller instead will pitch in relief on Saturday, after Nolasco, against the Rays.
Cody Ross was in the lineup on Friday, set to be the designated hitter. Ross has been out with a strained left groin.
