On the mend … Ross ready to go
With some protective wrapping on his right hand, Cody Ross took batting practice on a back field at Roger Dean Stadium on Sunday , Going through a full practice of fielding, throwing and hitting, the outfielder said “I’m good to go.”
Ross has been resting a sore right thumb. He is out of the lineup on Sunday, but he will play on Monday against the Mets in Jupiter. The Marlins have a split squad day. They also play at Viera against the Nationals.
Catcher John Baker (strained right foreman muscle) could be playing in games again by Wednesday or Thursday. The same is true for reliever Derrick Turnbow (sore right shoulder).

seems more minor injuries and less major ones this year for every team, it would be nice to have all team at full strngth come April…
