Coghlan looks to extend record

Chris Coghlan will try to make it nine straight multi-hit games on Monday night in the Marlins series opener with the Astros.

Coghlan, who had four hits on Sunday at Philadelphia, set a franchise record with eight straight games with at least two hits. That broke the mark shared by Juan Pierre and Miguel Cabrera.

Coghlan will lead off at Land Shark Stadium against former Marlin, Brian Moehler.
