Anibal on pitch count
Anibal Sanchez is back, but for how many pitches?
Making his first start since May 7, Sanchez was reinstated off the disabled list on Tuesday in time to face the Brewers.
Marlins manager Fredi Gonzalez says the right-hander, who was out with a right shoulder sprain, will be on a limited pitch count. If he can go five innings or 80 pitches the team will be happy.
“We’re not going to extend him,” Gonzalez said.
