Leroux optioned to Double-A
Chris Leroux made his MLB debut on Tuesday, and immediately afterwards, he was optioned back to Double-A Jacksonville.
The Marlins have been carrying 13 pitchers, and they’d like to get back to 12 to go along with 13 position players.
Leroux worked two innings in relief, giving up one run on three hits.
The Marlins have not announced who will replace Leroux.
