Chris Coghlan leading off and back LF where he DOES NOT beling. And it looks as though Boni is getting the day off, hopefully it helps him out.

Boni needs to not strike out and hit the ball on the ground. When he got picked off yesterday I almost died.

Call up Maybin and let him lead off, we all saw what he did last year leading off and this year when he was in the top of the order he hit pretty good. Coghlan getting a shot leading off sure why not? When Boni has had the whole season leading off and done nothing but strikeout and get pick off. Give Coglan a shot at third and in the 8 spot and Maybin leading off. Try something new you have kept the same old lineup and gotten nowhere but 9-24. Spark your offense and get this club wining.

listen to me.cantu’s 8th hr ,,he was standing more tall in the box and his stance was shorter, giving him more power. notice that sat vs tb his 2 drives to left would have gone out or at least against the wall..where is the hitting coach?

I must certainly agree with you Aarojoe the Marlins have led the league two consecutive years in a row in strikeouts and homeruns with low batting AVG. If you look at Jim Presley when he played that is the same thing he did in his career strikeout low AVG and HR’S. NEW HITTING COACH!!! NEW PICTHING COACH!!! NEW MANAGER!!! None of our players show improvement due to awful guidance.

Lets bring in Don Baylor as hitting coach!!!

EVEN THO CANTU IS MY FAVORITE,IT IS TIME TO SIT HIM DOWN TO CATCH HIS BREATH AND RECONSTRUCT HIS SWING,,HE NEEDS TO SHORTEN HIS STANCE, STAND UP MORE THUS ALLOWING HIM TO AVOID THE LOW INSIDE OUTSIDE PITCHES THAT HAVE HIM WAVING AT THE BALL INSTEAD OF SWINGING…

You guys need to stop! FREDI ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE HE IS A GOOD COACH!! JIM PRESSLEY ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE EITHER!! MARK WILEY ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE BECAUSE HE IS GOOD COACH AS WELL!!! AND AS FAR AS CANTU GOES HE IS FINE YES HE NEEDS A DAY OFF BUT HE DOES NOT NEED HITTING LESSONS FROM PEOPLE THAT AREN’T EVEN IN THE PROS. Every single one of you guys dont make sense at all. Maybin isn’t coming back up yet and for Bonifacio he needs to go down to triple A with Maybin because he isn’t ready to be up in the pros yet. Coghlan is a good player for his age and is playing really good in LF even though is position is 2B. As far as the lineup goes you would be dumb to have Coghlan hitting in the 8 spot because the guy does get on base and if you dont believe me look at his career stats in the minors because its a lot better then Bonifacio. Honestly, the lineup should look like this.

1. Coghlan LF
2. Hermida RF
3. Ramirez SS
4. Cantu 3B
5. Uggla 2B
6. Ross CF
7. Gload 1B
8. Baker C

And the pitching situation should be like this when Ricky and Sanchez come back.
Starters
1. Johnson
2. Volstad
3. Nolasco
4. West
5. Miller or Sanchez

Bullpen
1. Miller or Sanchez LR
2. Badenhop LR
3. Penn LR
4. Sanches LR
5. Meyer MR
6. Calero MR
7. Nunez SU
8. Lindstrom CL

Here are Jim Presley’s career totals

g- 959
AB 3546
avg- 247
hr’s 135
SO’s 859
RBI’s 495
SLG- 420

good resume for a hitting coach
