Kensing designated

In the 10th inning on Saturday night, Logan Kensing gave up two runs on four hits, and he was tagged with the Marlins loss to the Phillies.

After the game, the 26-year-old right-hander was designated for assignment.

The move was made to make room for left-hander Graham Taylor, who had his contract selected from Double-A Jacksonville. Taylor will make his Major League debut on Sunday, getting the starting nod in the series finale with the Phillies.

A second-round pick in 2003, Kensing appeared in six games for the Marlins, and his ERA was 9.82.

Everytime I see Kensing or Pinto out there I can’t help wondering what management was thinking when they let Arthur Rhodes and Joe Nelson go.

I am REALLY looking forward to a win today, although against Jamie Moyer that’s going to be tough. Go Marlins!!!!

Is Taylor going to be any better than Kensing though? I can see why you’d want to give someone else a shot right now, but is an unproven leftie the way to go?Ash

Sean West should be pitching in Andrew Miller’s spot not Graham Taylor. I have seen first hand Sean West pitch and he is a stud and would make the Marlins pitching staff better then it is now. Andrew Miller should be in the minor leagues for a little bit longer because he only has 3 games in the minors and Graham Taylor should still be in the minors a little bit longer also! Next time use SEAN WEST!!

And one more thing thank you for sending KENSING down to the minors!!!!
