Uggla scratched
For precautionary reasons, Dan Uggla was scratched from the Marlins lineup on Friday.
Uggla, who went through warmups and took batting practice, has some tightness in his left calf.
Rather than risk anything, the two-time All-Star second baseman was removed from Florida’s game with the Blue Jays on Friday night.
Uggla said he is fine, and that he could have played, but he didn’t want to take any chances. He decided to give it another day of rest.
