Injury updates
Dallas McPherson was back in the lineup on Thursday, seeing action as the designated hitter.
McPherson had been nursing a strained right oblique. He had five at-bats in a Triple-A game on Wednesday, and he is ready to play the field as well.
Gaby Sanchez (left knee) had three at-bats in a Minor League game on Wednesday, and he made the trip to Fort Lauderdale on Thursday.
