Against the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, Florida is going with: Emilio Bonifacio (DH), John Baker (C), Cody Ross (RF), Dallas McPherson (3B), Dan Uggla (2B), Jeremy Hermida (LF), Cameron Maybin (CF), Gaby Sanchez (1B) and Robert Andino (SS).
It’s interesting that Maybin is hitting seventh. Ross gets his first crack at hitting third in Spring Training. Jeremy Hermida batted there on Sunday and hit a homer and a double.
Bonifacio is getting more reps hitting leadoff, which is something to monitor.
